SANTA ANA – A Santa Ana woman was convicted Friday of killing her husband with a knife during an argument, authorities said.
Janeth Hernandez, 30, pleaded guilty to a felony count of voluntary manslaughter, according to Orange County Superior Court records. She now faces a maximum sentence of 12 years in state prison, prosecutors said.
A felony murder charge against Hernandez was dismissed, as were sentencing enhancements for use of a deadly or dangerous weapon, court records show.
