MYFOXNY.COM - Suffolk County police arrested a Bay Shore man and accused him of stabbing his wife to death on Saturday night. The couple had been separated.
Monica Paul, 40, was found dead in her apartment. Wesley Paul was charged with second degree murder.
"He was over there visiting his six-year-old son", Det. Lt. Gerard Pelkofsky, commanding officer of the Homicide Squad said. "There is no history of problems. We believe it's something to do with visitation, and the argument caused him to stab her a couple of times."
The husband called 911 from his cell phone, Newsday reported.
A compilation of daily news articles from around the United States about deaths (including both people and animals) that appear to occur in the context of a past or present intimate relationship, focusing on 2009-present. (NOTE: this blog is limited to incidents that appear in the media and are captured by our search terms. We recognize this is not an exhaustive portrayal of all deaths resulting from intimate violence.) When is society going to realize intimate violence makes victims of us all?
