An attempted murder suicide in Geary, OK has left one man dead and his wife in the hospital. The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation was called out to Geary about two o'clock this morning to assist in the investigation. Jessica Brown with OSBI says Bradley Willis, 51 years old, first shot his wife in the head before turning the gun on himself. Rebecca Willis, 52 years old, underwent surgery this evening at the OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City. She was listed in critical condition following the surgery.
OSBI says there was a third person in the home during the shooting. Authorities say that is who called 911. Even though the suspect in this case is dead, OSBI is currently conducting an investigation to make sure all stories line up.
Many in Geary, OK are shocked by the attempted murder suicide. Many there described the couple as good people. Some on the community tell us at NewsChannel 4 that Bradley and Rebecca were ordained ministers. She was a cook who often volunteered at a local charity kitchen.
