ROSEMEAD -- A man and woman in their twenties have been shot to death in a possible a murder-suicide in Rosemead, according to sheriff's officials.
The shooting was reported just after midnight at a home in the 2600 block of Earle Avenue, said Sgt. Roberta Granek of the Los Angeles County sheriff's Temple Station.
Family members were sleeping at the time and awoke to gunshots.
The victims, both Asian, were romantically involved, according to investigators.
The couple had apparently gone skiing together earlier in the day.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene and the man later died at the hospital, according to sheriff's officials. Both had been shot in the head.
No suspect was being sought in the shooting, authorities said.
It was not immediately known who fired the deadly shots.
