A husband and wife are dead after a gruesome murder suicide in Liberal, Kansas, according to the Southwest Times.
Jose Angel Rodriguez, Jr and his wife, Alicia, were found dead in their home in the 1200 block of Krause Court.
The Southwest Times reports the Liberal Police Department responded to a missing persons report Wednesday night. When police arrived they found the bodies of the couple.
The two were pronounced dead by the Seward County Emergency Medical Services. According to local coroner Dr. Hubert Peterson, Alicia was murdered by her husband, Jose, who then took his own life by cutting open both of his legs with a circular saw. He bled to death.
The couple had not been seen since Saturday and were reported missing by their family members in Liberal.
