GEORGETOWN, S.C. (AP) - Police say a South Carolina man killed himself after he gunned down his former girlfriend in the parking lot of a convenience store.
Georgetown County deputies told multiple media outlets that 40-year-old Keith Bryant met with his former girlfriend at the store in Murrells Inlet around 11 a.m. Monday.
Authorities say the two argued, and 29-year-old Sheinia Wilson tried to run away and get in a bystander's vehicle. But before she could get into the car, she was shot several times and died an hour later at the hospital.
Horry County police say Bryant then holed up in his Myrtle Beach home and killed himself after officers surrounded the house.
