EDGARD, La. - Deputies say a man wanted for allegedly stabbing his girlfriend to death in St. John the Baptist Parish has been arrested in Terrebonne Parish.
Capt. Dane Clement of the St. John Sheriff's Office told The Times-Picayune that 33-year-old Anthony Henry Tillman of Napoleonville was arrested in Gibson Sunday night.
Clement said 33-year-old Saneria Michelle Johnson of Wallace was found with multiple stab wounds on her chest and back at her home by a friend who had gone to check on her shortly after 6 a.m. Sunday.
Detectives named Tillman, Johnson's boyfriend of 15 years, as a suspect after several interviews.
