Police Say Shooting May Relate To Domestic Disturbance
KANSAS CITY, Kan. -- Police were called to Forest Avenue and Admiral Boulevard around 8:30 p.m. Monday to a woman shot in the chest.
Police said they found the woman lying on the sidewalk with at least one gun shot wound to the chest. The woman died during surgery at a local hospital, police said.
Neighbors said they heard more than a six shots fired.
Police arrested a man at the scene. Police said the shooting resulted from a case of domestic violence. Police said the accused shooter and victim were involved in some type of relationship.
