Police tonight are questioning a man in the stabbing death of his wife in their southwest Houston home.
The woman, whose name was not released, was killed about 2:30 p.m. today inside the single-story brick home in the 12400 block of Bexley, authorities said. Police said she had been stabbed at least twice.
According to investigators, the couple had not been getting along for several months, but a motive or what may have triggered the stabbing was unknown late tonight.
Investigators said the man called 911 after the stabbing and remained at the residence until authorities arrived. He was taken to police headquarters for questioning.
Police said the couple lived in the house and no one else was home at the time of the stabbing.
