BOULDER, Colo. (AP) ―
A Boulder County judge ruled there wasn't enough evidence against 40-year-old John Michael Angerer in the death of 38-year-old Angela Josephine Wilds.
Wilds' decomposed body was found by hikers in a shallow grave at the South St. Vrain Canyon. The Boulder County Coroner's Office ruled Wilds' cause and manner of death as undetermined. Angerer's lawyer argued there was no evidence showing Angerer killed Wilds.
Ryan Brackley, first assistant to the Boulder County district attorney, said the county may appeal Angerer's release.
