A Houston woman has been accused in the Thursday stabbing death of her boyfriend in southwest Houston.
Police arrested Ulessia Procter, 28, a short time after she allegedly stabbed Michael Black Curry, 30, during an argument that turned physical at a friend's apartment in the 6400 block of Bankside Drive, investigators said.
Curry ran out of the apartment holding his neck and collapsed on the sidewalk in front of the apartment about 1:10 p.m. A witness saw Procter run out of the apartment, right behind Curry, and then flee the scene on foot, according to police.
Procter faces a felony charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and the charge could be upgraded pending results of an autopsy, according to investigators.
Procter has a criminal history dating to 2005 that includes convictions for prostitution, trespassing, failure to identify to a police officer, and providing false information to a police officer, court records show.
