A man facing felony murder and involuntary manslaughter charges stemming from the 2009 killing of his girlfriend may soon be going to trial. John Alexander Sprayberry, 48, is scheduled for calendar call next week before Rockdale County Chief Superior Court Judge Sidney Nation. If defendants on the calendar call decide not to plead guilty, jury trials are scheduled to begin the week starting April 19.
