ALHAMBRA, Calif. — Police say three people are dead, including a young child, in an apparent murder-suicide in Southern California.
Lt. Edith Lopez says officers in the Los Angeles suburb of Alhambra were called to a home about 4:30 a.m. Thursday.
She says they found the bodies of a man, woman and child estimated to be 6 months to a year old. Their identities weren't immediately released.
Lopez says all three people had been shot in an apparent murder-suicide, but it's unclear who did the shooting.
She says other relatives were in the home and one may have called police.

(NOTE: this blog is limited to incidents that appear in the media and are captured by our search terms. We recognize this is not an exhaustive portrayal of all deaths resulting from intimate violence.) When is society going to realize intimate violence makes victims of us all?
