EL DORADO, Ark. (AP) - A man and a woman are dead following what authorities say was a murder-suicide.
Union County Sheriff Ken Jones says 60-year-old Dana Johnson was killed Wednesday inside her home in Felsenthal.
Deputies found her after answering a call about a man who was found dead inside a truck parked in Johnson's driveway. Jones says a small caliber handgun was recovered from the vehicle.
Based on evidence found at the scene, Jones says the man died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. His name was not released because his family had not been notified.
Jones says preliminary evidence indicates Johnson died from a gunshot wound to the head.
The sheriff says both bodies have been transported to the State Crime Lab for autopsies by the state medical examiner.

We recognize this is not an exhaustive portrayal of all deaths resulting from intimate violence.) When is society going to realize intimate violence makes victims of us all?
