HARRIS COUNTY -- A young father visiting his common-law wife and their baby at her parent's house was shot to death Monday afternoon.
The unidentified 19-year-old was killed in front of the home near Trilby and Maris.
Precinct 4 deputies say the couple got into an argument because the 18-year-old mother wanted to move away.
The girl's 32-year-old stepfather told deputies the teen began assaulting her, so the stepfather shot him.
The teen died at the scene.
It's not clear if charges will be filed in the case.
