Gettysburg, PA: 21 Year Old Boyfriend Charged in Stabbing Death of 19 year old girlfriend

Police: Pa. suspect admitted killing ex-girlfriendThe Associated PressGETTYSBURG, Pa. - A preliminary hearing for the Gettysburg College student charged in the stabbing death of his ex-girlfriend has been postponed until April 30.Court papers filed against 21-year-old Kevin Schaeffer of Oley say he admitted killing sophomore Emily Silverstein. He allegedly told investigators that the 19-year-old Roosevelt, N.J., woman had come to his apartment early Thursday and that he killed her during a fight in his bedroom.Gettysburg police Sgt. Kevin Wilson says police found Silverstein dead in the bathtub, partially covered by a shower curtain.Schaeffer is a senior who lived off-campus in a house leased from the college. He told police Silverstein was on her back on the floor when he choked her and then stabbed her in the neck with a steak knife.Defense lawyer Allan Sodomsky declined to comment.,,,
