AKRON, Ohio - Akron police said a fight led a girlfriend to fatally stab her boyfriend over the Memorial Day weekend.
Lillian Ritchey, 47, is accused of stabbing her live-in boyfriend Brian Knight, 39, to death inside her home in the 600 block of Victoria Avenue on Saturday night.
Authorities said Ritchey stabbed Knight in the chest with a kitchen knife. He was taken to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Ritchey has been charged with murder and is behind bars in the Summit County Jail.
