HUNTINGTON -- UPDATE AT 4:15 P.M.
A jury has found Robert Frazier guilty of murder in the second degree. Frazier was convicted of fatally shooting his girlfriend Kathryn Smith by shooting her in the face.
It happened in June 2008 at their home in Guyandotte.
The judge set his sentencing for Aug. 17 at 9 a.m. in Cabell County Court.
Frazier faces life in prison.

The trial of a Huntington man accused of killing his girlfriend is continuing.
Robert Frazier is accused of killing Kathryn Smith by shooting her in the face.
It allegedly happened after an argument in their Guyandotte home in June 2008.
The defense called an expert witness to the stand Monday morning.
Closing arguments are set to begin Monday afternoon.
The jury could get the case later today.
