SYRACUSE, N.Y. (AP) - An 18-year-old Syracuse man admits he stabbed his ex-girlfriend to death and tried to kill her sister over a $200 debt he owed.

Antwan Myles pleaded guilty Tuesday before state Supreme Court Justice John Brunetti to second-degree murder and attempted second-degree murder. In exchange for the plea, he'll get a sentence of 30 years to life in state prison.

Myles admits he stabbed 24-year-old Tamara Bass Cheeks in the next last August and also stabbed her sister, Talaka Black.

The plea allows Myles to avoid prosecution in another murder case, where he drove an accused killer to the scene of a fatal shooting in October 2007.

Myles will be sentenced by Brunetti April 27.
