A man who police say admitted to running over his girlfriend with a vehicle has been charged with negligent homicide in the death, a news release states.
A Caddo sheriff's detective arrested Glenn Anthony Foster, 51, on the felony charge Wednesday. Foster claims the death was an accident, according to the news release.
The body of Carrie Lea Jones, 43, was found by deputies Tuesday in front of the couple's home in the 18000 block of Buffalo Road in Ida.
"Foster told deputies he found Jones dead in the front yard, but later admitted that he had run over her on their 12-acre property and moved her body to the front yard," the news release states. "He said he was drinking at the time. Foster did not call for medical help and didn’t immediately contact the Sheriff’s Office."
