A woman who was shot multiple times Thursday morning died Thursday night.
Police arrived at Greenbriar Apartments on Virginia Loop Road at 12:05 a.m. and found a 37-year-old woman lying on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds, said Maj. Huey Thornton, a police spokesman.
The woman, Cara Hall of Wetumpka, was taken to Baptist Medical Center South, where she died at about 7:22 p.m.
Wetumpka Police Department officers arrested the woman’s estranged husband, Thornton said.
William Hall, 49, originally charged with attempted murder, is now charged with murder.
Hall is being held at the Montgomery County Detention Facility on $250,000 bond.
This is the 28th homicide of 2009 in Montgomery.

A compilation of daily news articles from around the United States about deaths (including both people and animals) that appear to occur in the context of a past or present intimate relationship, focusing on 2009-present. (NOTE: this blog is limited to incidents that appear in the media and are captured by our search terms. We recognize this is not an exhaustive portrayal of all deaths resulting from intimate violence.) When is society going to realize intimate violence makes victims of us all?

He got only 3 to 7 years. Could it be his connection with a half brother who is a Capt. in the Sheriff's Department in Scioto County OHIO?????
He only received a sentence of 3 to 7 years. Could his half-brother Capt. of Scioto County's Sheriff's Dept have ANYTHING to do with a sentence of such a short time? Women suffering from Battered Women's Syndrome have gotten life without parole. So what is with this relatively short time?
For this he got a sentence of 3 to 7 years. I don't suppose his half brother Capt. in Scioto County Ohio's Sheriff Department helped any? Women who suffer from Battered Women's Syndrome get life without the possibility of parole - a little gender bias here isn't there?
Your information is wrong. He plead guilty and was sentenced to 25 years.

I am looking for information on this case. More specifically, how to get in contact with BF.
What prison is Hall confined to?
Why do you want information?
I considered this man a friend of mine. I haven't been in contact with him for about a decade. I would like to contact him if that is possible.
