EAST ORANGE -- Police today identified a Bayonne man who, after a Bayonne woman moved out of his apartment, went to her parent's home in East Orange and shot and killed her before turning the gun on himself.
Marvin Dobson, 33, was found with Stephanie Delva, 30, inside a single-family home in East Orange Thursday, police said. Delva had been living with Dobson, her boyfriend, in Bayonne until Wednesday, when she moved to East Orange to live with her parents.
Preliminary reports suggest the violence began as a domestic dispute, and that Dobson probably shot Delva, then shot himself.
East Orange police and the prosecutor’s office homicide squad are handling the investigation.

We recognize this is not an exhaustive portrayal of all deaths resulting from intimate violence.) When is society going to realize intimate violence makes victims of us all?
