FITCHBURG, Wis. (AP) — Police say a suspect is still at large in a fatal weekend stabbing in Fitchburg.
Thirty-nine-year-old Willie Taylor was killed and his girlfriend was injured in the attack Saturday at the woman's apartment. Police say a former boyfriend of the woman is the suspect.
The State Journal (http://tinyurl.com/9oh9e2e ) reports the 25-year-old suspect has a violent criminal history. He pleaded guilty in 2008 for his part in the kidnapping and torture of a 20-year-old Spring Green man in rural Cottage Grove.
