NEW PORT RICHEY — Authorities have identified the people involved in murder-suicide Sunday night.
Stephen Michael Searce, 58, shot and killed his wife before turning the gun on himself, Pasco sheriff's deputies said.
The bodies of Searce and his wife, Penny, 48, were discovered inside their home at 9502 Paver Court after a family member reported being unable to reach the woman.
The couple was going through a divorce.
No one else was home at the time of the shooting, deputies said.
When deputies arrived at the home about 7:10 p.m., both bodies were found with gunshot wounds.
The investigation continues.
