HOUSTON – A 63-year-old man was shot and killed Saturday in front of his grandchildren at his Houston home, police said.
Police are searching for Francisco Arzarte, who allegedly threatened his ex-girlfriend and her family. Arzarte reportedly entered her parents' house and opened fire, killing Guillermo Valdez and critically injuring Maria Valdez, MyFoxHouston.com reports.
Valdez' three grandchildren were present during the attack, but were unharmed.
Police fear the suspect will either flee to Mexico or seek out his ex-girlfriend.
Arzarte dated Valdez' daughter for ten years and the two have five children together, MyFoxHouston.com reports.
