CORPUS CHRISTI -- Family and close friends held a candlelight vigil tonight for one of the women killed in a shooting this week.

18-year old Vivianna Amaya, 21-year old Virginia Rodela and 26-year old Marisela Ybarra were killed inside a car on Agnes Street Wednesday night.

Investigators arrested 21-year old Jacob Gonzalez for the crime.

Police say he had an on-again, off-again relationship with one of the victims and they believe the shooting was a result of domestic violence.

Tonight, a small group of people gathered at the same place that just days ago an accused gunman took one of their own.

Virgina Rodella or Gina as her friends called her was just 21 years old.

Her sister, Nicole Valdez, said, We had a lot of fun she was a great person, everybody loved her."

Saturday night, friends and family held a candlelight vigil to reflect on a life gone too soon.

At the vigil everyone wrote a message on a cup and put a candle inside.

Some friends brought flowers and wore t-shirts with Gina's name and photo.

They say it's going to take a long time to heal from this terrible tragedy.

Valdez said, "It hurts really, really bad, like it doesn't even feel true. We're going to have to take it day by day."
