SHERMAN, TX - The man accused of shooting his ex-girlfriend to death in the Sherman Elks Lodge is headed to prison. Marvin Graves was found guilty of first degree murder by a Grayson County jury Thursday morning.

Grayson County District Attorney Joe Brown says they deliberated for just 15 minutes before returning the guilty verdict. Graves was sentenced to 90 years in prison Thursday afternoon.

Prosecutors say on June 14, 2010, Graves walked into the Sherman Elks Lodge on FM 1417 and fatally shot Mona Youtsey in front of several witnesses.

"We don't usually have a lot of murder cases with 6 eyewitnesses. It was a tragedy with both families involved," Brown said.
