Two people are dead in Midwest City, the result of an apparent murder suicide at an apartment complex near Reno and Air Depot. Yorkshire Apartments resident Joh Leahr heard a number of gunshots. Witnesses tell police 29-year-old Patrick Ball chased 21-year-old Amber Wright out of an apartment after some sort of dispute and shot her several times before shooting himself in the chest. Police will not call the incident a murder-suicide until the medical examiner's office releases the exact cause of death for Ball and Wright. The couple had a child together, who was at a local daycare at the ime of the incident. The child has been taken into protective custody.
