COLUMBUS, Ohio — A former Mansfield doctor convicted of killing his wife more than 20 years ago will face a parole board on Tuesday.
It is the first parole hearing for John Boyle, 67, 10TV News reported.
In 1989, Boyle suddenly stopped his practice and moved in with his pregnant girlfriend after his wife, Noreen, vanished, 10TV News reported.
He was later convicted of suffocating his wife, wrapping her body in a tarp and entombing it inside another home that he owned in Erie, Penn.
The couple's children have sent letters to the parole board, arguing against possible parole.
