Pekin, IL: Pekin Murder Case Testimony Ends
Both the prosecution and defense rested their cases Monday in the week long murder retrial of a Pekin woman, whose being retried for the murder of her ex husband four years ago. Krystle McGlothlin was sent to prison for the murder but the conviction was overturned on appeal and a retrial ordered. McGlothlin was serving a 20 year sentence for the November 2006 death of Dennis McGlothlin. Witnesses claim Krystle confronted her ex when she found at his girlfriend's home and hit him with her car. Closing arguments will be heard Tuesday morning and the case will then go to the jury.
