ADA, OK - An Ada teen is facing charges after she allegedly ran over and killed her boyfriend last month.
Jasmine Cotter, 18, is facing charges of assault and battery with a deadly weapon and driving under the influence for running over 21-year-old Damian Ruston on the shoulder of State Highway 3 on October 25.
Ruston was flown to OU Medical Center, but died two days later from his injuries. One of Ruston's friends says Ruston and Cotter were involved in a relationship at the time of the accident.
Cotter is being held in the Pontotoc County Justice Center without bail.
