According to witnesses of the shooting, Kyley Sutton, a 19-year-old white male, arrived at 18955 State Highway 157, which is the home of Andrew and Michelle Lough.
Kyley Sutton allegedly became involved in a verbal argument with a 16-year-old female who was reported to have been the girlfriend of Sutton for the past two years.
The victim, Andrew Lough, a 38-year-old white male, who was the father of the 16-year-old female, told Sutton that he needed to leave the residence. Sutton went to his vehicle where he retrieved a hunting rifle. Sutton then returned to the residence and entered.
The 16-year-old female was told to run and hide by her father which she did. The victim, Andrew Lough, and his wife, Michelle Lough, remained at the front of the residence where Sutton entered.
The victim, Andrew Lough, was standing near the front door when he was fatally shot by Sutton.
Michelle Lough ran to where her step-daughter was hiding and took her into a bedroom where Sutton followed them into. Sutton allegedly stated that he did not mean to do what he had done and then exited the room. Michelle Lough and her step-daughter then ran from the residence through a rear door.
Michelle Lough snuck around to the front of the residence to see if she could see where Sutton had gone. She stated that Sutton was sitting in the front of his vehicle with the rifle in his hands. She advised that at this time she saw and heard deputies arriving on the street in front of her residence. She, and the arriving deputies, then heard a gunshot. Deputies discovered the body of Sutton in his vehicle along with the suspected murder weapon.
