A woman was stabbed to death at her home in Southeastern Clarke County on Tuesday morning and a woman she lived with was charged with her murder, Athens-Clarke police said.

Police called the stabbing a domestic matter.
Candice Armour, 27, was pronounced dead at 11:41 a.m., a little more than an hour after the other woman called police to report someone in her home was "injured," according to police.
Police found Armour bleeding from a single stab wound to her side, and she was taken by ambulance to Athens Regional Medical Center where she later died.
Candie Scott, 26, who lived with Armour at 170 Big Oak Circle, was charged with malice murder, felony murder and aggravated assault.
Police would not discuss possible motives for the stabbing.
"All I can tell you is there have been a history of domestic calls" to the home the women shared in the neighborhood off Morton Road, south of Lexington Road, Athens-Clarke police Capt. Clarence Holeman said.
Scott called police at 10:21 a.m. to report someone was "injured" but did not mention she had stabbed anyone, Holeman said.
Several children live in the home, but Holeman would not say if any witnessed the stabbing.
Armour's death marked the second murder in Athens-Clarke County this year.
On April 20, Richard Norred opened fire in his home on Beaver Trail, killing one of his sisters, Leigh Allison Norred Pope, and wounding his mother and another sister, according to police.
Clarke County last year recorded its worst year ever for domestic violence deaths, with 10 victims.
