Sha-Ron Moens was found stabbed to death on Saturday in her Newark apartment. Kenny Jones, above, said he and the victim had three children together. A woman has been arrested in the stabbing death.

NEWARK -- A woman has been arrested in Saturday's fatal stabbing of a Newark mother of three, after reporting to police that her SUV had been stolen, officials said.
The father of two of the victim's three children said the accused killer is his ex-girlfriend, whom he left in recent weeks to return to the victim and their children.
Nadiyah Venable was arrested at East Orange Police headquarters, where she had gone to report the theft of her green Ford Explorer, said Katherine Carter, a spokeswoman for the Essex County Prosecutor's office. Investigators had been looking for the vehicle in connection with the stabbbing, Carter said. Venable, whose age and address were not immediately available, would be transported to Newark Police headquarters for processing.
Venable was charged in the death of Sha-Ron Moens, who was found with multiple stab wounds inside her apartment building Saturday, on Mount Prospect Avenue in Newark, at 12:30 p.m.
Kenny Jones, 39, said he and Moens had two sons together, after she had a daughter by another man. Jones said that he had broken off his relationship with Venable in recent weeks. He said Moens answered the door to her home Saturday, and Venable threw bleach in her face, then began stabbing her.
