Eastpointe -- A 24-year-old man arrested last week in a shooting that critically injured his former girlfriend was arraigned today on a charge of first-degree murder after the woman died.
Darnell Logan is accused of shooting 19-year-old Tammy Humes at least three times during a domestic dispute at his Eastpointe home April 11.
Logan was arraigned in 38th District Court last week on charges of assault with intent to murder, felony firearm and carrying a concealed weapon.

He returned to court today for a formal arraignment on an amended charge of first-degree murder.
Eastpointe police say Humes died of her injuries over the weekend.
If convicted, Logan will serve life in prison with no possibility of parole.
Police say Logan and Humes' 4-year-old son was inside Logan's home on Ego Street when the gunfire erupted around 2:30 p.m. April 11.
Humes was struck in the upper torso and ankle.
After the shooting, Logan fled. He was arrested April 13 in a strip mall parking lot in DeWitt Township, near Lansing. The gun believed to be used in the shooting was found inside his vehicle, police said.
Macomb County Circuit Court records show Humes had filed at least two personal protection orders against Logan, most recently in March.
Police say Humes also had a domestic violence case pending against Logan in Clinton Township District Court.
Logan is being held without bond in the Macomb County Jail.
A preliminary hearing is April 28.
