HAMPTON COUNTY, SC (WTOC) - A man charged with murdering his wife last year has plead guilty to a lessor charge of voluntary manslaughter.
The Hampton County Sheriff's Office says Charles Croom was charged with the murder of his wife, 26-year-old Heather Croom.
Heather Croom's body was found by hunters near the Frampton Cemetery in Hampton County back in March.
Her husband was arrested shortly after her body was found and charged with murder.
Charles Croom has been sentenced to 25 years in prison for voluntary manslaughter.
