Toledo, OH: Man suspected in wife's death arrested in Canada

A Toledo man suspected in the death of his wife at their West Toledo home Friday night was arrested early today in Saguenay, Quebec, authorities said.
Kyle Sheppard, 29, was awaiting extradition, Toledo police Detective Jeff Clark said. Canadian police were on the lookout for him after an arrest warrant, for one count of murder, was issued for him in Toledo Saturday, Detective Clark said.
Katie Sheppard, 29, was found by police at 10:20 p.m. Friday in an enclosed front porch, covered by a blanket, police said.
Mrs. Sheppard, according to court documents, was apparently strangled.
Police found no forced entry into the home. They also found that there was an attempt to clean up the crime scene.
