Bozeman, MT: Man and woman identified in Bozeman murder-suicide

Authorities identified the man and woman involved in Monday’s apparent murder-suicide in Bozeman.
Alicia Nicole Smith, 33, and Uriah Storm Kimble, 31, were found dead early Monday morning in a bedroom of a northwest Bozeman condominium.
Officers responded at 7:07 a.m. Monday to a domestic dispute on the 3200 block of Warbler Way, in a small collection of condominiums off North 19th Avenue behind Costco and Target.
A roommate told dispatch she heard her roommates fighting in one of the condo’s three bedrooms. The roommate said she heard a loud noise, possibly a gunshot. The noise was loud enough to set off a fire alarm, the roommate told dispatch. After the noise, neither person in the locked bedroom was responsive, the roommate said.
Police found Smith dead from a gunshot wound to the chest and Kimble dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. Police Lt. Steve Crawford said two weapons, a handgun and a rifle, were involved in the shootings.
