Metro Police have determined that two bodies found in a Lawrence home Wednesday evening are the result of a murder-suicide.
Sgt. Paul Thompson says 74-year old David Cassady and his wife Ruth were found in their Lantern Road home around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday by health care workers.
Investigators say Ruth Cassady shot her husband in bed then shot herself. Police believe its due to health issues, but they have no details on those issues. An autopsy is scheduled.
