A man and a woman were found dead of gunshot wounds Saturday afternoon in Norwalk, in what authorities believe was a murder-suicide.
Officers responded to a report of assault with a deadly weapon in the 11500 block of Tina Street at 12:50 p.m., said Rick Pedroza, a deputy sheriff. Upon entering the location, sheriff’s deputies found a man and a woman, both dead from gunshot wounds, Pedroza said.
Deputies believe it was a murder-suicide, Pedroza said. A handgun was recovered at the scene.
The woman was identified Sunday as Toni Vazueta, 29, of Norwalk. The man’s identity has not been released, pending notification of his family.
That is so sad what occured. Thank god he didn't kill the children. Now these kids are going to be Traumatized, not having their mother and father. Such a sad ending to a family.
