Girlfriend arrested in Calumet City man's death
The girlfriend of a man discovered fatally stabbed in a Calumet City street over the weekend was arrested and charged in his death.
Shundra Daniels, 38, of the 500 block of Wentworth Avenue, Calumet City, was charged with first-degree murder in the Sunday death of Nicholas Bella, police said in a news release.
Bella, 29, was found in the street near Wentworth and Wilson Avenues with a stab wound to the chest about 3 p.m.
Bella, of the 400 block of Madison Avenue, was later pronounced dead in Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.
