PHOENIX – A woman was shot to death and a man is fighting for life after a domestic dispute turned deadly on Wednesday morning. Officers responded to a home near 27th and Myrtle avenues after receiving a call reporting shots fired just after 3 a.m. Police arrived at the apartment to find a man who had shot his girlfriend and then shot himself, according to an officer on scene. The man was transported to a local hospital with life threatening injuries. Police say two children, ages 1 and 4, were in the apartment at the time the shooting occurred. The children are reportedly ok and are with family members. |
