WILKES-BARRE, Pa.—A coroner in northeastern Pennsylvania says the shooting deaths of a man and woman in their home was a murder-suicide.

Luzerne County Coroner John Corcoran said Tuesday that 50-year-old Florencio Gomez shot 40-year-old Alinda Krason on Monday afternoon before killing himself. Arrest records show that Gomez had threatened to kill Krason in the past, but charges were dropped because Krason refused to testify against Gomez.
