STANLEY, NC (WBTV) - A Dallas man who is charged in the death of a Gaston County woman will be in court this afternoon.
Gaston County Police have charged Douglas Harold McMickle, 40, with first-degree murder in the death of his fiance, Teresa Ann Dickerson.
She was found shot to death Saturday evening at a home in Mt. Holly on Old N.C. Highway 27.
Investigators said McMickle and Dickerson had been dating for several months.
A brief investigation resulted in McMickle's arrest. He is being held in the Gaston County jail without bond.
