A man in South Alabama is charged with murdering his girlfriend.
But what makes this story different is the man is 90 years old.
And the girlfriend was 82.
The motive, police say, was jealousy.
Police say 90 year old Bob Pittman of Troy, Alabama, shot and killed his 82 year old girlfriend, Doris Adams.
Family members found the woman unresponsive at her home Tuesday, she died soon after.
Pittman was arrested Thursday and charged with murder.
If he's found guilty he could spend the rest of his life in jail.
This is the first murder in the town of Troy this year.
