PHILADELPHIA - Police say a man walked up to a car in Philadelphia and shot a woman to death, then turned the gun on himself as the woman's young daughter watched. Details are sketchy, but police say the shootings too place around 7:40 a.m. Tuesday outside the woman's home in the city's West Oak Lane section. The woman, who was in her mid-30s, had just gotten into her parked car to take her 11-year-old daughter to school when the man approached, pulled out a gun, and fired. The woman was killed instantly. The 45-year-old man then shot himself to death. The girl was uninjured. Police say they do not have a motive yet for the shootings. |
